Sunshine Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. designs, manufactures, installs and commissions fruit and vegetable processing equipment, from a single crusher or pulper to a complete turnkey line for juice, puree, concentrate, sauce and dairy-type liquids. Our Products range is organised so that a project can be assembled at the right level: a full production line, an aseptic or non-aseptic filling system, or the key machines that sit inside the process.
For Complete Processing line Solutions for Fruit Juice, we work from the product backwards. The fruit, the finished specification and the packing format determine the process route, the machine sizes and the level of automation. Our engineering team, built on the experience of the former Qianwei Machinery Factory of Shanghai Light Industry Machinery Group, supports projects from laboratory and pilot scale through to industrial production.
Our Product Range
Three product families cover the route from raw fruit reception to the filled aseptic bag. Each family can be supplied as a standalone scope or combined into one coordinated line with shared utilities, controls and acceptance criteria.
| Product family | What it covers | Typical application |
|---|---|---|
| Whole Production Line | Complete fruit/vegetable process lines and aseptic filling lines, integrated as turnkey projects | New plants, capacity expansion, full-plant replacement |
| Aseptic/Non-aseptic BIB & BID Filling Sys. | Tube-in-tube sterilization and bag-in-box / bag-in-drum fillers, aseptic and non-aseptic | Puree, paste, concentrate and juice packed in 1–25 L BIB or 5–220 L / 1000 L BID |
| Key Machines | Washers, sorters, lifters, crushers, destoners, extractors, refiners, pulpers, preheaters, evaporators and sterilizers | Line upgrades, single-machine replacement, capacity balancing |
Whole Production Line
Our Production Line scope is a one-stop turnkey package: process design, equipment fabrication, installation, commissioning and operator training. Lines are configured for fresh raw material intake from 200 kg/h up to 30 t/h, in small, medium and large project scales.
- Fruit and vegetable process lines for juice, puree and paste, including washing, sorting, crushing, extraction, refining, evaporation and sterilization stages.
- Aseptic filling lines combining tubular sterilization with BIB or BID filling for shelf-stable puree and concentrate.
- Sauce, hot-fill beverage and dairy-type liquid lines using the same process building blocks.
- Laboratory, mini and pilot plant lines for recipe development before industrial scale-up.
Within this family, the Fruit/Veg. Process Line is the core sub-category. It is built around the fruit itself, so the same line architecture serves very different products:
- Tomato Paste Processing Line — hot-break and super hot-break routes for high-viscosity paste, from fresh tomato to filled aseptic bag.
- Mango Puree Processing Line — washing, sorting, destoning, preheating, pulping, sterilization and aseptic filling.
- Apple / Pear / Thorn-pear Juice Processing Line — clear or cloudy juice with pressing, clarification and concentration options.
- Peach/Apricot /Plum Puree Processing Line — stone fruit pitting and pulping ahead of sterilization and filling.
- Orange Juice Processing Line — NFC juice, concentrate and essential oil recovery from fresh citrus.
- Grape Juice & Wine Processing Line — juice and concentrate production from fresh grapes.
- Guava Puree/Concentrate Processing Line — tropical fruit handling with high pectin and seed load.
Aseptic and Non-aseptic BIB & BID Filling Systems
The end of the line decides shelf life and logistics cost. Our Fruit Juice Filling Machine Manufacturers range pairs sterilization with filling so that the sterile product is protected from the sterilizer outlet to the sealed bag.
- Aseptic Tube in Tube Sterilizer — developed and upgraded on Italian technology, applied to fruit paste, juice concentrate, products with pulp or granules, syrup and dairy liquids.
- Aseptic BIB (Bag in Box) Filler — works with an aseptic UHT sterilizer as one aseptic packaging system.
- Aseptic BID (Bag in Drum) Filler — 5–220 L or 1000 L high-barrier aluminium-plated or pure aluminium compound film bags, or transparent aseptic bags.
- Non-aseptic BIB & BID Filler — semi-automatic stainless steel unit with PLC control, filling 1–25 L BIB and 5–220 L BID for juices, milk and oils.
Aseptic configurations suit puree, paste and concentrate that must hold quality without cold chain. Non-aseptic filling suits chilled or short-distribution products and lower-volume operations where a simpler bag format is sufficient.
Key Machines Inside the Process
Our Key Machines are the building blocks of every line and are also supplied individually for upgrades and replacements. Matching machine size to the upstream and downstream stages is what keeps a line balanced.
| Process stage | Machines we supply | Selection driver |
|---|---|---|
| Reception and preparation | Fruit washer / sorter / lifter; fruit crusher; fruit destoner; tomato crushing pump | Fruit shape, stone or seed load, required particle size |
| Extraction | Screw juice extractor; belt press; orange/citrus juice extractor; vacuum membrane press | Yield target, pulp content, clarity requirement |
| Refining and heating | Fruit refining machine; fruit pulper & finisher; preheater / scalder | Final mesh, viscosity, enzyme inactivation route |
| Concentration and sterilization | Forced external circulation vacuum evaporator; falling film vacuum evaporator; tube in tube sterilizer; tubular UHT / pasteurizer | Brix target, heat sensitivity, holding time |
Engineering Approach and Configuration
As one of the Fruit Juice Line Manufacturers serving both new plants and upgrades, we configure each line around the working point rather than a catalogue number. Capacity is stated in tonnes of fresh raw material per hour, and every downstream machine is sized from that figure plus the expected yield and the required finished Brix or consistency.
- Material contact: stainless steel construction on product-contact parts, with food-grade seals and connections suited to the product acidity and temperature.
- Controls: PLC-based control with recipe parameters for temperature, holding time and fill weight; interfaces for the plant's utilities and existing equipment.
- Automation level: from semi-automatic filling for smaller volumes to fully integrated lines with coordinated start-up and CIP sequences.
- Utilities: steam, chilled water, compressed air and electrical load are defined during process design so the plant can prepare infrastructure before delivery.
- Packaging: BIB and BID bag sizes, fitments and barrier film type are fixed together with the filler specification.
Manufacturing, Testing and Acceptance
Equipment is fabricated in our Shanghai facility and put through full-process quality management. Before dispatch, every machine undergoes complete trial operation and water debugging so that performance and quality are confirmed prior to shipment.
- Pre-delivery inspection against the agreed specification, with inspection records provided.
- On-site installation guidance, commissioning and operation training by our engineers.
- After commissioning, 1–2 engineers can remain on site to support the first production runs.
- Annual pre-season visits for inspection, maintenance and technology upgrades.
- Spare parts supply and remote diagnosis for on-site faults.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
A precise proposal depends on a small set of project inputs. When these are clear, we can fix the process route, machine sizes, filling format and utility requirements without guesswork.
| Input | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Raw fruit and variety | Determines washing, destoning, extraction and refining stages |
| Finished product specification | Brix, pulp content, viscosity and clarity set evaporation and sterilization parameters |
| Capacity and shift pattern | Sizes each machine and balances the line |
| Packing format | BIB, BID, aseptic or non-aseptic, bag size and film type |
| Site conditions | Available space, ceiling height, steam and power supply, climate |
| Automation and budget scope | Defines control level, staffing and phasing of investment |
Frequently Asked Questions
What capacity range can Sunshine Machinery supply?
We build complete processing lines for tomato paste, tropical fruit juice and jam, and other fruit and vegetable projects at small, medium and large scale, covering 200 kg to 30 tonnes of fresh raw material per hour. Single key machines are sized to the same capacity range.
Can you supply a single machine rather than a full line?
Yes. Our key machines — washers, sorters, crushers, destoners, extractors, refiners, pulpers, preheaters, evaporators and sterilizers — are supplied individually for line upgrades or replacement, as well as standard aseptic and non-aseptic BIB/BID fillers.
How is the aseptic filling system matched to the process line?
The tube-in-tube sterilizer and the aseptic BIB or BID filler are engineered as one system. Holding time, temperature and flow rate are set from the product's heat sensitivity and viscosity, and the filler is matched to the sterilizer outlet so the sterile product is never exposed before sealing.
What bag formats are available for BIB and BID filling?
Aseptic BID filling covers 5–220 L and 1000 L high-barrier aluminium-plated or pure aluminium compound film aseptic bags, or transparent aseptic bags. The non-aseptic filler handles 1–25 L BIB and 5–220 L BID bags with PLC control.
How is quality confirmed before shipment?
All equipment goes through complete trial operation and water debugging before delivery. Inspection is carried out against the agreed specification, and our engineers then support installation, commissioning and operator training on site.
Do you support pilot-scale trials before a full investment?
We supply laboratory, mini and pilot plant lines alongside industrial systems, so recipes and process parameters can be validated at small scale before the full production line is configured.
