Sunshine Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. designs and builds the process-critical machines that sit inside fruit and vegetable deep-processing lines — washing and sorting, crushing, destoning, juice and puree extraction, refining, thermal treatment, vacuum concentration and sterilization. We supply these units as standalone equipment for plant upgrades and as the working core of complete turnkey lines for juice, puree, concentrate, tomato paste, sauces and dairy liquids.
Our Fruit Processing Equipment Factory range covers preparation, extraction, refining, evaporation and sterilization duty, so a single process step or an entire line can be sourced, engineered and commissioned from one technical team.
Where Our Key Machines Fit in the Process
A fruit processing line is only as stable as its weakest process step. We group our equipment by process duty so each machine can be matched to the raw material, the target product and the capacity of the line around it.
- Preparation: washing, sorting, lifting, crushing and crushing-pumping of whole fruit and vegetables.
- Separation: destoning, pulping, refining and juice extraction by screw, belt press, citrus extractor or vacuum membrane press.
- Thermal treatment: preheating, enzyme deactivation, scalding, pasteurization and tube-in-tube sterilization.
- Concentration: forced external circulation and falling film vacuum evaporation for paste, puree, jam and syrup.
Among Fruit Processing Machine Suppliers, we also engineer Fruit/Veg. Process Line projects, so machine interfaces, buffer capacity and transfer distances are considered at the selection stage rather than after delivery.

Preparation and Extraction Equipment
Washing and sorting determine how much foreign matter and defective fruit reaches the extraction stage. Our bubble washer, roller sorter and lifter are built in stainless steel with frequency-controlled drives; the roller sorter uses an anti-clamping roller design that turns fruit as it conveys, avoiding selection gaps and sanitary dead angles. Roller sorter models run from 5 t/h to 25 t/h.
Crushing follows the raw material: the hammer-type Fruit Crusher handles 5–30 t/h with an adjustable multi-group cross-blade structure, while the Tomato Crushing Pump combines crushing and transfer for berries and soft fruit at 1–25 t/h. For stone fruit, the Fruit Destoner separates flesh from pit and peel with pulp recovery up to 99.5%, and screens can be changed for different fruit sizes.
- Screw extractors for pome fruit, pineapple, carrot and fibrous material.
- Belt presses for higher-yield pressing of apple, pear and pineapple.
- Citrus extractors that recover juice and essential oil in one pass.
- Vacuum membrane presses for grape and pomegranate, limiting oxidation during pressing.
Refining, Evaporation and Sterilization
Refining and finishing set the mouthfeel and solid content of puree. Pulpers and finishers remove peel, seed and core while refining the product; the Fruit Refining Machine separates juice, pulp, oil and residue after extraction. For concentration, we build forced external circulation evaporators for high-viscosity products such as tomato paste, mango puree, peach paste and chilli paste, in single-, double-, triple- or multi-effect configurations from 300 to 35,000 L/h water removal. Falling film evaporators suit clear juice and concentrate where low-temperature residence matters.
Sterilization closes the process. Tube-in-tube sterilizers and tubular UHT/pasteurizers provide continuous thermal treatment for juice, puree and concentrate, and pair with our Aseptic/Non-aseptic BIB & BID Filling Sys. when the product is packed aseptically.
Materials, Controls and Line Integration
Product-contact parts are fabricated in food-grade stainless steel, with food-grade plastic or stainless steel scrapers on conveying equipment and sealed, corrosion-resistant bearings on drives exposed to washdown. Variable-frequency drives are used across washers, sorters, lifters and crushers so throughput can be trimmed to the line rather than fixed by pulley ratios.
- Machine sizing based on raw-material tonnage per hour and finished-product specification.
- Transfer heights, buffer tanks and pump duty agreed with the surrounding line.
- Steam, cooling water, compressed air and electrical supply defined per machine.
- Guards, panels and access points arranged for operator safety and cleaning.
Quality Control and Acceptance
We apply full-process quality management. Before delivery, every machine undergoes a complete trial run and water debugging to confirm stable performance, and inspection is carried out against the agreed specification. Acceptance criteria are agreed with the customer at order stage so that capacity, product contact materials and control functions can be checked against the same document.
Installation and commissioning are supervised on site by our engineers, followed by operator training on operation, changeover and maintenance. After commissioning, engineers can remain on site to support the first production run, and annual pre-season visits cover inspection, maintenance and technology upgrades.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
A machine proposal is only as good as the process data behind it. We prepare the configuration and quotation from the following project inputs.
| Input | What It Determines |
|---|---|
| Raw material and variety | Screen and blade selection, destoning gap, extraction method |
| Fresh-fruit throughput (kg/h or t/h) | Machine model, drive power, number of parallel units |
| Target product (juice, puree, paste, concentrate) | Refining, evaporation and sterilization duty |
| Brix, viscosity and pulp content | Evaporator type, effect count, heat-transfer area |
| Utilities available on site | Steam pressure, cooling water, air and power supply |
| Plant layout and building height | Lifter height, machine arrangement, service access |
| Packing format and downstream equipment | Sterilizer outlet conditions, buffer capacity, filling interface |
Maintenance, Spare Parts and Documentation
Machines are designed for simplified structure and low maintenance cost: screens, blades and scrapers are replaceable, and drives are accessible without dismantling the process section. We supply spare parts and accessories for the equipment we manufacture, respond to on-site failures with remote diagnosis where possible, and support modernisation of older equipment.
Delivery scope, operating manuals, spare-parts lists and training content are agreed with the order so that the plant team can take over routine maintenance from the first season.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we buy a single key machine without a complete line?
Yes. As one of the Fruit And Vegetable Processing Machinery Manufacturers serving existing plants, we supply standalone machines such as crushers, destoners, extractors, evaporators and sterilizers, as well as complete turnkey lines. For standalone orders we confirm the interface points with your existing equipment — inlet and outlet heights, transfer method, capacity and utilities — so the unit integrates without rework.
What capacity range can Sunshine Machinery supply?
Our project scale covers laboratory and pilot equipment, mini lines from 200–1,000 kg/h, medium plants from 1–5 t/h and large industrial lines from 5–50 t/h of fresh raw material. Individual machines have their own ranges — for example 5–30 t/h for the Fruit Crusher and 300–35,000 L/h water removal for the forced external circulation evaporator.
How do you choose between a screw extractor, belt press and vacuum membrane press?
The choice follows the fruit and the product. Screw extractors suit pome fruit, pineapple and fibrous vegetables; belt presses give efficient pressing for apple, pear and pineapple; vacuum membrane presses are used for grape and pomegranate where oxidation control matters. We confirm the selection against your raw material, target yield and downstream refining.
Which evaporator suits tomato paste and which suits clear juice?
High-viscosity products such as tomato paste, mango puree, peach paste and chilli paste are concentrated in forced external circulation vacuum evaporators, available in single- to multi-effect designs. Falling film evaporators are used for clear juice and concentrate where a low-temperature, short-residence concentration step is required.
How is equipment tested before shipment?
All equipment undergoes a complete trial operation and water debugging before delivery to confirm stable performance and qualified quality. Inspection is carried out against the agreed specification, and the customer is kept informed of progress throughout manufacturing.
What support is provided after installation?
Our engineers supervise installation and commissioning, train operators on operation and maintenance, and can remain on site for the initial production period. We supply spare parts, respond to failures with remote diagnosis and on-site support, and carry out annual pre-season inspection visits covering maintenance and technology upgrades.
